The sectionals do look like they’re different colors for the same swatch. I don’t think her saying she disliked it in conversation made a difference. I tried asking the client their favorite colors/design themes and one told me she liked black for the interior decorator part and then disliked it in conversation. It’s really hard to advance in the career because it keeps bugging out and decreasing my reputation. My first client wasn’t on the lot when My sim arrived, she just sat there for a few hours. After client number two I stopped getting paid despite having clear directives, following them, and getting okay feedback. I won't be buying this pack unless they patch the absolute shit out of it, which there's no guarantee of, since Dine Out stuff is STILL BROKEN.ĮTA a few disclaimers: yes it's okay if you like the pack, no I don't think you're dumb/bad/wrong for buying it or being excited, no I don't blame the devs or code monkeys who are forced to release broken content (I blame the people who make the choice to force release), and yes this is just one person's opinion, I'm just feeling real spicy today! Lol Can't believe they get away with this shit. They don't even deserve most of the money they get anyway, since they're putting busted, bug filled packs out. I can only assume at this point that anyone they put in charge of making decisions for the Sims 4 is always going to prioritize profit over product. Sorry, I'm just really sick of the shit that EA pulls. Plus, I mean-it took seven years to give us likes and dislikes? SEVEN? And they don't even have all the activities? Are you fucking with me?! Think of all the games you could pay $20 for that aren't buggy as hell, filled with glitches, with barely any unique gameplay to speak of. What the hell are they doing? Obviously not playtesting, or listening to their consumers. not a bug, but you pretty much need hella EPs and packs to have more than a few objects of each interior design style, which blows because it's a GAME pack and the GAMEPLAY it adds shouldn't be reliant on umpteen packs.feminine clothes on male sims not optional or horrible, ie clipping through other clothes/busted looking mesh.color clipping from hair into teeth/teeth glitch.hair swatches are literally different colors hair to hair (new black is gray on half the hairs but true black as intended on others).sims still do activities they hate and piss themselves off in the process.literally half the hobbies/activities are missing from likes/dislikes (no reading, swimming, socialization-related activities, no art activities for kids, etc).can't place separate stove top onto same counter as in-counter oven (might be a purposeful choice, but a stupid one).getting a gig and going there but no one even lives in the lot.clients giving the most asinine responses imaginable when asking them about home reno likes and dislikes (I sure love rock climbing, that's all you need to redo my kitchen right?).unable to successfully complete gigs no matter what decor is used.Let's see what bugs have been reported so far, merely a single DAY into release: There is something seriously wrong with the Sims team if they think this pack was anywhere close to being ready for release. Anyway, randomness plays a big role in the sims, so I wonder if part of the result is a dice roll. Especially when I did exactly as they asked. I still did the job! Seems unfair that they can just not pay me if they aren't happy. Still didn't get paid!) In that case one person was straight up unhappy, and the other two said "it wasn't what was asked for." I feel like there should be something in between getting paid and not getting paid. Dislikes brown, took everything brown away. Likes contemporary, changed entire floor to contemporary. BUT, on the last couple jobs I did exactly what was asked, very carefully, and still did not get paid. I wondered if that was due to the type of questions I was asking, so I changed my information collecting strategy, and that may have helped? Not sure. Then the next five renovations, I didn't get paid for four of them! On some, I didn't get any helpful information for the renovation.
